From the Principal’s Desk
The Student Councillors and Faction Captains introduced an updated assembly format for the first assembly last week to accommodate for the increase in student numbers. Pre Primary and Kindergarten assemblies will commence in term 2.
We welcome a new Caversham staff member, Ms Milka Harrison, Special Needs Education Assistant.
Census of student numbers was finalised last Friday at 420. Census is the day that dictates funding for the school year.

Uniforms - Pre-ordering of uniforms is strongly encouraged. In 2018 new school polo shirts and faction shirts are being introduced. Any items of the current school uniform may continue to be worn whilst they are in a reasonable and suitable condition.

There is a growing presence of children in school who have been identified by a medical practitioner as being at risk of an anaphylactic reaction (severe allergic reaction). It is important therefore that parents, staff and children recognise the risk and understand the steps taken to minimise the exposure to specific triggers of an anaphylactic reaction.
A number of students with in our school have been diagnosed by a medical practitioner as being ‘at risk’ of anaphylaxis.
